Hyundai Creta. is the best car in it's segment?

Let's talk about the car that has taken the subcompact SUV market by storm in a market like India. Yes, we're talking about the Hyundai's Creta. it is the youngest car in its competiton as compared to the ford' Ecosport and Renault's Duster. It also feels more premium both outside and inside. Now let's talk about my experience with the new Hyundai Creta. the first impression when i saw the car for first time i really like the exterior of the car as it has the fluidic 2.0 design philosophy. It looks quite modern and stylish from the outside for me it's the most good looking subcompact SUV in it's segment.
yeah it looks good from every angle. from the front grill till the rear taillights everything is in perfect proportion. And the specially those optional 17' inch alloys that looks very good as compared to the 16' inch alloys.

now talking about the interior of the Creta, it is one of the most premium and nice looking interior in its competiton. it has two tone colour dashboard. its looks elegant because of the beige and black interior. The materials used inside are of good quality even its an hard plastic it looks and some what gives a premium feeling. Talking about the main thing that you see first when you enter the Creta's cabin is the big touchscreen infotainment system which does not look like a aftermarket product. everything and every button is in proportion. the steering feels nice and sporty. the steering has 12 buttons on it which contains all the features like volume up and down , receiving call etc. which helps the driver to not get distracted while driving.

now let's talk about the features for which all the Hyundai cars are famous these one also holds that that theme of Hyundai cars.
talking about the features of the top end 1.6 SX  plus AT model.
In comfort and convenience
it has Automatic Climate Control two rear AC vents. Two power outlets. it also has button stop/start feature. then it has keyless entry, rear parking sensors and rear parking camera.
then also it has four power windows, one touch up and down is there only for the driver. electric mirrors and rear defogger and rear viper. then talking about more exterior features it gets the DRLs and the projector headlights but there is no automatic head lamps feature available. now the instrument cluster has a MID display which gives you all the information except the average fuel consumption and distance to empty.
talking about safety it has two airbags,ABS , EBD , and traction control for the AT variant.
so that's all about he features.
now let's talk about the first drive experience of the Hyundai Creta Petrol automatic that i have driven. talking about the engine options we get three engine options in which there are two diesel and one petrol options. now i have driven the petrol variant transmitted to 6 speed automatic transmission.
talking about the petrol engine it is very refined and very smooth in performance. It produces around 122 bhp and 154 nm of torque. the power comes in a linear manner and it is also a high revving engine it rev till 6400 rpm. talking about the cabin while driving the cabin is very quiet also at higher rpms.
the car is easy to drive in the city as the steering feels very light in the city conditions but as you go on a highway or a free way the steering gains some weight. talking about the handling the handling of the car is nice the suspensions gets a little bit stiffer on higher speed so that there is very less body roll but also normal speeds it socks up the bumps quiet well. the steering wheel is not the best i must say as it has some dead feeling in it so at high speed getting into a corner Creta may understeer. but the overall performance of the car is very nice, the high speed stability is also nice. the 6 speed automatic transmission is also quite smooth the upshift are smooth but when it comes to downshift there is a little bit of lag in it. yeah so that all about my expereince for the hyundai creta petrol 1.6 AT.
but is it the best in its segment?
so the answer is if you want a subcompact SUV only for city driving , highway driving and a little bit of offroading then the creta is the clear winner. and also gives us more option both in petrol and diesel so that if you want automatic transmission you can get it in both the engines. so it gives us more options as compared to others.
so guys if you like the blog ,like it and follow me, also comment if you want such blog for a particular car/bike.
thank you :)
