so today let's talk about Tata's one of the best car till now the Tiago. now it is a small family hatchback. so first let's talk about the practicality. talking about practicality the car is having enough space for your small family to live peacefully. there is enough place to keep your 1 litre water bottles and all the other things like mobile ,wallets etc.now next Question that comes in our mind does it have any good feature or it's just a normal car like many cars at this price point well no the Tata Tiago is a fully loaded car. it has many features which is not normal to see in a car of these category. now let's talk about what features does this small car has.so basically it has all the essential features that we need on our daily basis like four power windows, power steering , the best in segment infotainment system by harman. also it gets parking sensors, steering mounted controls and much more. on safety fronts it gets ABS,EBD, Dual airbags on the top end variant.
now let's talk about the engine and transmission options that we get.
there is a 1.2 Litre petrol and 1.0 Litre diesel engines both are 3 cylinders engines.
the petrol engines makes around 84 bhp @6000 rpm and 114 nm of torque @3500 rpm. transmitted to a 5 speed manual and is also available with AMT transmission.
talking about my experience with the petrol tiago was quite satisfying. the performance for a car of these segment is good. the engine feels a little dull because the tiago is a heavy car. after 3000 rpm the engine feels a little bit strained but below 3000 rpm the car is one of a joy to ride.
driving the car in the city is very easy and comfortable, the steering is light on low speed and car is easy to drive through the city traffic also while going on the highway the steering gains weight on higher speed for good stability.
Tiago is also known for its fuel economy in petrol the mileage claimed is 23.84 kmpl and in diesel is 27.28 kmpl.
so overall if you want a good comfortable, affordable hatch for you and your family then you should go for the Tata Tiago. because it is comfortable, economical , feature loaded and one of the best in it's segment.
